Lilli + Cruz (and Ellie!)

Lilli and her new hubby Cruz met via introductions from a mutual friend. Nothing about the intros were coincidental however… even Cruz was in on it. ‘I was totally in the dark’ Lilli tells us, “we went on our first date a few days after we first met, and that was pretty much it! I think both of us knew somehow this was the start of something real” (aww).

Fast forward 6 years later and Lilli is walking down the aisle in the Alca Line Bride lavender Romy dress, part of our Madame collection (purchased via our stockists and friends at Bluebell Bridal).

The pair tied the knot on May 1,2021 at Hobba Café in Prahran, Victoria. Hobba’s rustic and open space served as the perfect blank canvas for Sasha of Mountain Daisey Florist to work her magic. “Our florist Sasha absolutely nailed the florals for the day!” says Lilli when asked about her favourite detail of the day. “I also loved the DIY spirit bottles with fairy lights inside, they were so pretty and really suited the vibe of the venue!” We’re alllll about DIY wedding decos!

Most memorable moment of the day? Lilli couldn’t go past their first look together in the afternoon, filled with lots of tears and laughter from them both. A close second was their Ring Bearer and Dog of Honour - Lilli and Cruz’s Cavoodle, Ellie stealing the show (and rightfully so… those eyes!). Lilli tastefully paired the flowers on her collar with the wedding party’s blooms.
